5 WONDERFUL PLACES ON EARTH

The earth is full of unbelievable wonders that seems impossible to exist. If word could be used to describe these wonders of nature, it would be Enchanting, Breath-Taking, Scintillating, Unbelievable, Wonderful and Magical.

Here are 5 of the most unbelievable wonders around the world which you might not know exists:

1. GLOWWORM CAVES, NEW ZEALAND
A complex of  caves were discovered in new zealand by Maori Chief Tane Tinorau and English surveyor Fred Mace: Waitomo caves on the North Island of New Zealand, known for its population of glowworms, Arachnocampa luminosa. This species is found exclusively in New Zealand. They are around the size of an average mosquito.

The cave system consists of a limestone ceilings that were strung with thousands of glowing creatures; the larvae of a carnivorous fungus gnat called Arachnocampa luminosa. These “glowworms” use blue bioluminescence to attract prey, which they then ensnare by dangling a gooey string of mucus.
Today, thousands of tourists visit the Waitomo Glowworm Caves to have a glimpse of natures wonder. The attraction has a modern visitor centre at the entrance, largely designed in wood. There are organized tours that include a boat ride under the glowworms.

2. GRAND PRISMATIC HOT SPRINGS, WYOMING (USA)
The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world and is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. The spring is approximately 370 feet (110 m) in diameter and is 160 feet (50 m) deep.
The deep blue color of the water in the center of the pool results from the scattering of blue light by particles suspended in the water. The vivid colors in the spring are the result of microbial mats around the edges of the mineral-rich water. The different bacteria produce color-altering carotenoids, which help the microbes survive the heat and protect themselves from sunlight. The mats produce colors ranging from green to red. In the summer, the mats tend to be orange and red, whereas in the winter the mats are usually dark green. The center of the pool is sterile due to extreme heat.
